ZKSJ REEF series of high-efficiency protein skimmers feature newly designed DC
pinwheel pumps. This pump optimizes Water/Air ratio, which improves the efficiency
of the protein skimmer. The skimmer cuts the bubbles at a higher RPM than traditional
ones, which enables the skimmer to generate fine and smooth bubbles.
The pollutants in water can be easily absorbed by the bubbles because the pollutants
have polar tails. And these pollutants ,will be piled up by the bubbles until they fall into
the collection cup. The smaller the bubbles form, the smaller and more pollutants can
be taken out of the tank. An excellent proteinskimmer can clear more than 50% DOC
before DOC breaksup into Dissolved Nitrogen.
